After revamping my tank, I must say that so far I am very please. The tank is now running for a month and I already have plant despite my water parameters. PH= 8,0. NO2= 0,5mg/l. NH4/NH3= 0,5mg/l. KH= 15+. GH=15+. After adding Sera Super Peat my KH and GH is coming down. Does someone may have any advise for me on how to lower my KH and GH.

Here is some photos I took today.

    Thanks everybody.

It is only the 2 Java Ferns that is still in the plastics pots. I am going to take them out during the week and tie them to some of the pieces of wood in the tank.

Do you need to leech a piece of wood again the was in a tank some years ago or will it turn the water brown again?

I was lucky enough to be able to buy alot of my Tetrsa and angels directly from a breeder. I have the following species the tank.

Neons, black neons, Pearl and Zebra danios, black phantoms, silver tips, rosy fins, glow lights, lemon tertra, columbiam tetras, emporer tetras, golden angels, zebra angels, black marble angels, golden and moonlight gouramies, bronze and pepper corys, golden chinese algea eaters, bi-color sharks, rainbow sharks. apple snails,
