    why is it that I can't find qualety African cichlits in fish shops

    Nice mix of cichlids, Do they get along?
    Mine always causing caos in my tank. (There is always a bully in the bunch.)

    You know that the N. venustus gets 30cm long? Thats a very small enclosure for a big dude.. ag shame

    yeah I know it now but did not when I got her. There is a lot off chaceing the red zebra is my bully. I bo enjoy them though

    Are you Afrikaans? Yeah pet shops unfortunately are not there to give the animals to good homes, they just want to sell a lot. I'm so tired of seeing "malawi cichlids" on tanks at pet shops... How hard can it be to print out a few species names?

    With Malawis, there will always be a tank boss - one dominant male.

    @Fiellies,
    Those species do get quite big, and would probably appreciate a bigger tank :idea:
