My A. trifasciata

    Good evening all.

    The 5 pics below are of a pair of trifasciata that I have in my community tank. They are both from slagter. Funny lot, they let the cories pass freely but the gourami doesn't stand the slightest chance! Haven't seen them Vs a loach yet...

    Looking closely at the pics is that black algae on your substrate ?

    Good looking fish. What is that plant in pic 2 to the right? Where did you get it?

    ah yes i have replaced the common substrates used with a more natural one....ala da black algae! it was on the glass and I cleaned it off, but settled on the gravel. I suck out what I can when I do a water change...

    haha yeah great lfs ;) The blue on the male is awesome!

    @Vis...I cant see my own pics, weird and cant remember either... but think that one was a small curly leafed vallis...Got it a a few years ago from a lfs that closed down. Think dolphon brought some in recently though. It used to grow ridiculously fast but has now slowed down....
