    Yea it does, on both the inlet and outlet. I'm going to fill the tank tomorrow and check that all the hardware is working and see how I can adjust the flow. Will update tomorrow :)

    Hi Guys :)

    I'v finished with the hardscape and found a layout that I am happy with (pics below). I've glued the rocks and wood together using cigarette filters and super glue which worked quite well. I also glued small pieces of spiderwood to the rocks to try and create something that looks like roots growing out of the rocky areas. I had prior commitments this weekend so I didn't manage to fill the tank and check everything is in good order/no leaks and I'm reluctant to do it now as I don't want to come how from work and have had a tank/canister filter leak all over the place.

    Inked20190407_170722_LI.jpg

    Above is my initial thoughts on how I would like to plant the tank (excuse the incredible MS Paint workmanship ;) ). the plants I would like to use are:
    - Eleocharis Parvula;
    - Staurogyne repens;
    - Hydrocotyle tripatita;
    - Cryptocoryne parva;
    - Cryptocoryne Wendtii;
    - Microsorum;
    - Rotala Colorata;
    - Rotala green;
    - hygrophila pinnatifida
    - Various Bucephalandra in amoung the rocks;
    - Anubia nana;
    - Riccardia or fissidens;
    - Anubia bonsai.

    I'm really hoping that I'll be able to find all the above when it is time to plant the tank. Any suggestions or recommendations on the types of plants and the layout are welcomed! :)

    Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

    It was a little trick I learnt from the Green Aqua youtube channel. You get those small cigarette filters used to roll your own smokes, you then put it between the items you want to glue and then flood it with super glue, then just put some sand on the glue while it's wet and you'd never know it is there. It works like a charm!

    That's a new one, I only know of filters being used as co2 diffusers

    Unfortunately not. I didn't get a chance to do it over the weekend.

    That's awesome, thanks for sharing

    The thing with the glue is that it turns white and looks ugly, this is brilliant

    It is indeed. As long as you use a cyanoacrylate glue. I've read many posts on various forums with people using this method successfully. It is also a trick which is commonly used among professional aquascapers.

    Haha I almost did but I'm having second thoughts on the scape now... I feel like I could do something better with the left hand side (I also have to wait for pay day now unforunately)
