    Hi all,

This thread will be dedicated to my "new" 430L planted tank in my home office.

    Tank specs:

    1.2x60x60
    6x 54watt T5 lights
    CO2
Substrate consists of a mixture of PFP+Nutrifeed and MicrobeLift Biologically Alive Substrate capped with a mixture of pool sand and coral sand
    Filtration: Eheim Professional 3E

The tank has been rescaped 3 times already so ignore the plants in the tank :D

I have no idea just yet. I was thinking some pigmy cories, cardinals and rummynose?

Nice Henk .. hmm you are making me rethink pfp again ... then again on a tank that size you might not want to do ADA AS. Loads of light so almost anything will grow in that tank.

A small (hopefully) constructive crit - is it even vaguely possible to remove the layer of pfp in the front? So that in pics you see sand only in the immediate foreground? Just my 2 zim $$!

Looking forward to seeing this one develop!

not without disturbing the entire substrate. I like seeing the various layers of substrate. Its also very cool to watch the plant roots grow in the front :)

OK... rethought it... might be a bit on the whacky side.. but worth the try...

If you remove the far left panel go buy yourself 3 sheets of glass...
2 much be the same height and thickness of the front and back panels... just 300mm long
and the 3rd must be the same length and thickness of the base.... also 300mm long.

Thus if you glue these on, you could extend the tank and make it into a 5foot.

No wait... that might now work either....

    Sorry... lemme rethink this one

    Just toying with you Henk.

Looks awesome. Can't wait to see the growth on this tank.
I can only assume that you are only using ML fertilizers on this tank?

Just for other member's information, can you clarrify why you decided to use the PFP method under your ML-BAS?

@Henk Hugo, you'll have to crank up the Co2 to keep up with all that light.
How long is your photo period?
The Stellatus growth tips seems stunted, that usually happens with Co2 deficiency.
Are you going mostly stems or some crypts as well?
    Scape looks good.
