Things are going well here @Deem . I could never get DIY CO2 to work with my DASZ diffuser. So cool that yours works. Could be the brand?

When are you putting in some carpet in??

Thanks @TankMaster. Im using the ITSA 3-in-1 diffuser. Working like a bomb. Put the second yeast bottle in today, so will see how that goes...

I would like to do a carpet, but cannot find any plants at the petshops and not getting any posted down from Joburg, to expensive for me for now, so will wait till someone goes up that I know lol. Could take awhile...

@GOJ Ok great! Got a nice flow of bubbles at the moment. Going to try add a bottle a week...

Also does anyone know... I have a spraybar. Must it be out the water or in. I have it mostly out at the moment for surface agitation and creating air etc but then could that be decreasing my co2 in the tank? So what is best? Thanks

You want the spraybar under the water deem, you just want a small ripple at the surface, definitely nothing breaking the surface of the water.

The drop checker has def changed colour since I moved the spraybar.

I am not sure what chart to use to see my co2 levels, as I have seen 3 different ones on the net. As my pH is 7.5 and my kH 7. So some seem in the green and others not...

    3. This is not MU. I have MU and it is much bigger as well as 'buds' differently.

    Thanks all

Here is my recipe for DIY CO2.

    You need:
    2l plastic coke bottle
    2 cups sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp yeast

In a small bowl - 5ml warm water, add a pinch of sugar. Mix in the yeast with a fork until its bubbly and let sit for 10mins.

Fill the coke bottle 2/3 of the way up with warm water, then add 2 cups sugar and the baking soda. Then shake up till disolved.

Then add yeast mixture and let stand for a few hours...
