46cm? wow, that photo is decieving, that tank looks impossibly long

    whats the plant content?
It looks cool, i want a tiny tank like that on my study desk, would a male and female be able to live in there?

Don't have many plants in there; just some green & red cabomba, tiger lotus (Lord knows why this plant is in there and, on top it, planted in front), rotala macranda, sagittaria subulata, glossostigma elatinoides & cryp undulata

betta male & female will most likely breed if they are in there by themselves. Rather just keep a male in there

It's great to have an update on your tanks Dale - and it's great to see you around on the forum again :) I like the betta, very nice.

Shot Vee....just had some time around this weekend as I took some leave. I'll probably go AWOL again from Monday

BTW - the fishroom is now empty with a capital E....all tanks at Gert's place, including most of the fish.

Gert made a plan...he has a big garage afterall :)

Emptry room is going to be super cleaned and then I might embark on setting up a reptile tank. I blame Nico for this; I popped in by him a few weeks back to buy some food for my fish and we landed up chatting for over an hour about reptiles. He's caught my interest, so I'm first doing some research before I'll make any purchases. Looking to buy only in December/January though

Warn me in advance if it's gonna be a snake please....I'd hate to pop in for a visit and have a freakin' heart attack or something :) Aren't reptiles more work than fish tho'?

lol, nah....don't think I'll get a snake as they give me the creeps. I'm going the chameleon & gecko route

Nope, reptiles require far less attention than fish, so that's another reason why I'm going with them.
