hi so this is my tank so far , wanting to get a much larger one , but have not had fish in about 13 years so baby steps.
origionally it was a light brown color that never matched anything , and the wood needed some tlc and sealer etc. so gave it a good sand , sprayed and the loads of varnish .I am
aiming to go as natural as possible , currently i have a slate rockery , with a few caves , two plants (not sure the names ) and attempting a moss wall (been 2 days so lets see how long it takes ). I also have some water sprite .
    livestock:
    10 neons
    2 clown loaches
    2 Kribensis
    1 pleco

i wont be adding any more livestock , due to tank size etc.
so let me know what you think so far..

Nice looking tank, must be a pain working on the bottom though?

Would make an awesome paludarium. I think I should send you a pic of what I am thinking of, maybe I can persuade you :)

One more thing moss walls: You need to spread you moss much thinner(no gaps between moss) and no moss lying on top of each.
Done this before and if you do not do it this way you will always have a patchy moss wall that does not cover the mesh.

not to bad working on the bottom , got long arms ;)
as for the wall , i am still waiting for more moss from one of my mates contacts, so will spread it out and add the rest when i get it , must admit was a quick job but wanted to get it off them bottom and stop it from floating all over (messy stuff!!!) ..
any ideas as to where i can get various moss types?

There are a few people with mosses around. My opinion the best moss for moss walls are spiky of christmass moss. I think @Gerrit might have some christmas to spare but you would have to talk to him.

Looks interesting - keep an eye on the growth of the moss wall - I have found that the above mentioned fish love to dine on new moss shoots. Maybe I just had veg heads ?

@byronb - add your location to your profile ..

BTW plants look like mondo grass (not a true aquatic) and maybe water wisteria ?? Will need better pics to help.

    Later Ferdie
