Wanted: Mussel Shells

HI

Anybody willing to go to the beach and collect me a nice big bag of mussel shells that i can use in my filter?
I work for a transport company as well so to get it up so JHB wont be a problem...

I surf about 3 times a week, but I hardly ever come across mussel shells in Durban, unless down the south coast.
On Tuesday though while coming out the surf I noticed alot of what looked like limestone shaped dead coral, perfect for stacking in a tank......but after picking up a few pieces I noticed I looked a little weird carrying my board, wet and with a armfull of rocks.

 

lol i have forgtten bout this post, dont worry bout the shells, ill wory bout my ph if i manage to get my tank up and running one of these days

 

Best option is to go to your local fishmonger and ask them to keep all the shells for you from the oysters they shuck.
