Oh nvm then, I was going to put him with some tetras and a pearl gourami. I'll probably get a bristlenose pleco then. Any other alternatives?

I did not know you get two different species. Mine has the red pink K eyes fat and lazy. Only time they are active like your video is when I do a water change then it is spawning time. My black, panda, bandits and stirbea? Ones defiantly last in line to get food. The albino chases them if In there area

I love the eyes - very rare to see that on a fish.

I am not a big fan of albino fish tbh.
    I prefer natural colour.

My lfs had some albino Bichirs.
Owner told me they are very popular.

I know. There are 5 albino Corys so far
Aeneus, Paleatus, Sterbai, CW010 and Panda (Japan).

The BN isn't an albino. This is called Xanthism. Yellow pigment + blue iris.

Most others (black eyed) are leucistic ones.

It is natural, but linebred afterwards.

My albino peppers are really great btw.
I like them more than the normal ones.

Last one is my Xanthistic pepper that died some time ago. 6b124d0ea5c7bd072b992f6f59f6a80c.jpg39a16ad6720ab9540589c7fe52d6f054.jpg069764661149a51573658e6d41d8b346.jpg94deb2beceb4d92cf17a0285da70a197.jpg

What DoubleDutch said - you do get natural albinos out in the wild. There was an albino elephant, lion, etc... you name it - it's there or been there, done it. And if two albinos breed true, the lineage will all be albinos.

I like leucistic or xanthic better. One member of another forum has a tonne of platinum fish each worth more than all of our tanks in some cases

You do get the odd strangely coloured animal in the wild.
But as I say, they not for me.

    @DoubleDutch
Never thought to try Brussels sprouts with my fish
