    For interest sake.

after selling most of my pond guppies, I was left with a lot of juveniles.

put them in a large tub, filled with pond water and a lot of water cabbage and a 150w heater.

Water is circulated, no filtration. All seems happy

    Interesting setup.
    Looks good.
Hopefully the plants will help keep the water clean.

    Sofar yes, no problems.
Water cabbage on top, and a lot of hornwort below

I love that inverted bowl ‘tower’ and the guppies seem to love it too :)

I thought these pond guppies normally survive the winter outside

in my 4500 litre pond, I had some guppies I could not catch. they survived until last week before the cold front hit Pretoria. The swords still going strong.
