I've had it for a couple of months and it seems like the shrimp are keeping it fairly in tact. I'll remove most of it by hand and see if the shrimp can do the rest.

So pleased to find somebody else with the little affliction. It seems easy enough to remove by hand but it always comes back. Shrimp seem to keep it growing slowly but it does ultimately grow.

Rabbit snails eradicate it - at least they did in my tank

I like some types of algae. Pretty. I have some BBA that are under control as well as Clado and hair algae. My favourite is stag horn algae. They look pretty and the shrimp love it. I had a rock in one tank completely covered and it was wavy and beautiful, looked like a L’Oréal advert. I only clean the front glass as well, the rest I leave.
