I like them all - so why do LFS not get stock from you? Or do they ?

I tried to answer you but the "reply" just went missing... Lets see If I'm succesful this time???

I do not have a variety of fish, (cause I cannot get breeding stocks).... The petshops in Thabazimbi are not into fish, so I basically have to give it away... Guppies.... Males & females... as well as all livebearers at R4 each... (they sell for R15).... My Convicts & Blue Gouramies..... are R6 each.... (They sell for R38).... Hillarious, but they do not change.... (I do this on a stock exchange method) so they first sell my fish before I take "fish foods, Heaters, Pumps, etc.) to the equivalent value.....

WOW - Thabazimbi has cheap fish ... in GP I see convicts selling for R56, male guppies for R28 .... At least you have some business sense - I just give the stuff away - dropped off +- 1kg of Vallis plants, Riccia and some 30 convicts at a local LFS.

Cheetah that's the way it is. Pet shops want fish as cheep as possable. They got a high markup. They need to pay the rent, staff and make a profit.

 

I had a pet shop in Northern Cape, & used to load all livestock 100%.... If I buy for R5, I sell for R10.... (all other equipment, I loaded 35%).... I think that should be the norm..... These ppl are marking up by 700/800%...wow!!.... reduces the turnover & I cannot get rid of my stocks.
