    So at the moment in my SA themed setup I have 4 ordinary Silver Dollars and 3 spotted Dollars
    On the weekend I went to a lfs that had some Wide Bar and also some Striped Dollars.

    Am keen to get one of each. I know that Dollars like to be in groups.
    But. They were quite expensive. And also, am close to the max of the stocking level in my tank. So don't want to get more than one of each.

    How would they do in a mixed group of different Dollar species?
    Anyone with experience of this??

    Both the wide bar and striped are BL in SA, I have never seen them outside a public aquarium. I know the WB become quite a bit bigger than the others, not sure if that could become a problem with dominance.
    In the PTA Zoo, they seem to keep a number of different species together successfully, but those are public display sized tanks, so the environment differs from home aquaria.

    @Jwh,

    Thanks for the info.
    I will have to give it some serious consideration.
