    Hi all.

Finally got my 3ft tank and bought a standard metal stand for it, but I wanted to make it a cabinet. So I found a good idea and this is how mine came out...Wanted something easy, so did not want to build doors. So just made it a cover with magnets.

This is of the stand, fitting the base in.

Verra nice indeed! :hatsoff:Like the magnet idea - someone else used velcro... storing up all the non woodworking ideas for when I need them!

It looks like you added "pins" at the bottom of the frame for the front cover to stand on? Was this because the magnets weren't strong enough or for an alignment reason?

Yes I had to use little screws as the strip magnets (useless) were not strong enough, but if the proper white magnets are used then the pins will not be necessary.
