    So I am off on my holiday tomorrow.

    Just thought I would take a moment to wish everyone all the best for the Festive Season.

    Which gate are you going in? If it is Crocodile Bridge or Malelane let me know - there are serious roadworks there, we took 9 hours from PTA to Ngwenya lodge two months ago!

    We are going in at Melalane, spending the first night at Skukuza.

    I have heard that there are roadworks. But I am on a wildlife forum, and some of the local members say the stop-and-go is being lifted for the festive season.

    @Reedfish I hope for your sake they are right - might want to check with TRAC on that. That road is hell when there is an accident... I nearly had a stroke from stress when a 36 ton interlink overtook us in the rain, in the dark, on the left hand side of the road!!

    I have driven that stretch of the N4 5 or 6 times in the last 10 years.
    If the stop-and-go still there, I will go Nelspruit, White River, Hazey View and in at Phabeni.

    TRAC?
    Do they have a website?
