massive first brood

About eight months ago I got a few tiger barbs for one of the tanks and in the bag found a tiny guppy fry.
As I didn't have any free safe space for it I decided to put it with some gold fish in the outside pond
There was lots of vegetation at the time and I thought it would have had a fair change surviving there
In March I cleaned the pond one Saturday and found a nice size virgin female.
It was moved indoors and I persuaded myself to get a male for her
So end of April we got a red imported male from the local pet shop.
The male got hammered from day one by a golden panchax male.
He quickly learned to hide when mr. was in the vicinity.
Ripped fins recovered nicely and through all that kept being persistent in chasing his female .
The female started getting bigger and had her first brood sometime today and what a massive brood it was!
I have kept guppies on and off for many years but this was definitely a first for me..
Thing is that I have had larger females in the past but cant remember ever seeing a brood this big.
