Masala's tank

    Howsit gents, just thought i'd share my tank with you all. Keep in mind that im just a novice & this is my first real freshwater tank but im open to all constructive critism.

    How many fish do you have in there and what is the dimensions of the tank

    theres about 15 at the moment, i think the tank is about 60cm in length & about 40cm in depth. I know the tank is way too small & thats why im looking for a much bigger one

    All good just as long as the fish are happy for now but ja do try to get a bigger tank but so far it looks good

    well i got a tall 3 ft for sale if u interested? R900 lights, heater, filter, stand, cabinet etc included..

    WOW that is a real bargain shihr, i will definately consider this when the bucks are available.

    Thanx for the kinds words....amazingly my plants are still going strong(touch wood) & its already been a week now. Thats good news after reading that other aqaurists plants were eaten a few hours after planting them.

    I've done some research before putting in the plants & read that Anubias, Java Fern, Java Moss & Velisneria are good plants to put in a tank with Malawis if one really wants to add some greenery. They say that they're quite strong plants & if eaten, they taste horrible so the fish are put off by them.

    nice man! I love it when ppl do proper research before doing things.. Those plants defn stand the best chance with ur Malawis:)

    lol i've been scared by the loss of my lil ones goldfish so i always research before i do anything first

    I'm not sure how true it is that Java moss and vallis taste bad my gourami sits eating mine all day! I also have amazon swords bacopa monniera hair grass and a couple more plants he could choose from so they can't be that bad tasting
