How long ago did you get them?
Can take a new fish a few days to settle down.

    Still early days.
In a few days can try some blood worm or brine shrimp. Most fish can't resist!

Just try a little bit daily but not too much because if he doesnt eat you have all the food left in the tank

So just put a little and see if he shows interest, if not try next day

    Good luck

I would try it a little different.
Go a day or two without, and then try again. If it's not eating, feeding more is just going to cause water quality issues.

Are the male and female in the same tank?

I had a Male who refused to eat for a week after I got him as @Reedfish says, blood worms.. If he still effuses, something is wrong.

Try feeding mosquito larva. Leave a bucket of water outside a couple days. You will get mozzie in no time.

Have you tried a flake food? You mention everything but flakes. Most lfs would feed a general flake. Give it a go
