Magazine

There is a new magazine out called The Fishkeeper for the aquarist does anybody know who stock it in the east rand.

 

i bought a copy the other day - R15 well spent. its their 1st issue but i like it.

 

Talking of new magazines - does anyone know what happened to the magazine which was supposed to be released at the end of October? The website just says that there is a delay......??

I've heard about The Fishkeeper mag, the one Henk is talking about, and it has only been good things.....can't wait to get my hands on a copy!

I dont think they stand much of a chance with this new one. Its the same publishing company that owns Avizandum (bird mag) and Ultimate Exotics. its 28 pages of fairly good info.

Why do you say this mag will not make it, Avizandum is going for ages.
But more important, where did you get the magazine. I can't find it here!

 

no no - not this mag - the other new one that was discussed on the forum some time ago.

I got it from Panorama

 

got a copy of this mag today from one of the wholesalers...nice! a few interesting article topics - have not read them yet so cant vouch for the info...

did come acros an article on the Feather Fin Catfish by Timothy Smith - might this be our very own Salmon Africa? If so, well done on being published!

The next issue, in their list of issues, is March/April - it was not available at the wholesaler... hope they are still publishing...

My local LPS got it once and gave me copy, was very interesting. Featured some malawis etc.
I think the LPS can order it from somewher, will ask where as I am picking up some fish on
friday.

 

it comes from Denison Publishing - some guys that does the Avizandum bird mag and the reptile one.
