made my wife a guppy tank

    Nice - I think all planted tanks should start with guppies ..

    and then you just leave them and do not bother about the rest.

    Cool... Not so sure about the smurf/Barney rumble going on in the substrate, but if you like it like that, it's a win. Your next challenge is to photograph your wife's guppies... Seriously the most difficult fish ever to snap. They move totally randomly, much like our government, you never know where to next! And they never stop... Much like Eskom asking for money...

    Lol my wife chose the gravel but atleast there is potting soil underneath it

    Very true f-fish although I have never kept guppies myself I started with danios and tinfoils.
    @Broder tell me about I gave up after awhile.

    very clever... i did this and got the Mrs hooked .... 3 little tanks have come and gone and the 4ft still going strong... a little bribery goes a long way :D
