    BN are really cool to watch - when they are small - then they start to go into hiding.

    Added a glass cover .... for winter.

    Light still getting to the back so that is OK.

    Oh yeah, forgot .. the driver for the glass is to decrease the heat loss so to reduce the heater on time ...

    Defnitly awesome. The 1 thing that I have noticed with buce is the less you baby it and the more you let it be, the better it grows.

    I noticed a change in the moss growth with the glass cover on ... probably less prone to drying out.

    @f-fish.
    On the extreme right - is that Marsilea?
    What substrate are you growing it in??

    Yeah one of the more successful cultivation locally .. even the guys in Bloem sell it for cheaper than the LFS's in JHB - https://mcmerwefarms.co.za/product/marsilea-hirsuta/ and it is cultivated in JHB ;-)

    On the shelf - it is grown in - probably Langa .. almost like ADA but not ;-)

    MhHpvUpAHpyjCJPJFPxrx7hMH0LU87h6c8GNlIHEa_a_o_3gGrNdoxcCMlujG5-xT1zkUDSwXqE1q3XGU7g=w718-h405-no.jpg

    Note I have a worm on the shelf again .. loads of stalks and reduced number of leaves.

    d8RHFzXKttbuSJoLjKkndEaSDZommI7VBPgwXI6otjWtBqjsoWyKu98oYWM8XPwkwQLmx89yRACvhjQy3A=w1560-h880-no.jpg

    Have not tried to do a carpet with it ... since well I suspect it needs way more light and CO2 than what I am wiling to drop onto the substrate, but it does find it's way onto the substrate and the runners leaves looks like the above lot.

    I have Marsilea hirsuta and M crenata both bought as tissue cultured in tubs.
    Was surprised out how quickly they started producing normal type leaves.
