Massive die down on the shelf ... suspect it it lack of light since the sun is now all but gone.

Need to fit a 600mm tube for winter.

    Later Ferdie

    Hi Ferdie

Noticed the same thing in my sunroom
are you installing a sunlight box
temp of my water as dropped by 10 deg

@reuben hmmm you might be onto something .. or rather leading me down a different path of thinking.

Room temperature has not been swinging that wild and it is gradual increase / decrease.
    upload_2018-4-24_6-19-31.png

But the shelf only gets water when I put the lights on ... now that causes a temp "spike"

    upload_2018-4-24_6-21-48.png

Wonder if that shock to the roots is enough to make them suffer ?

Not sure what I am doing this winter - waiting for inspiration to strike.

Sure the 2ft tube is a bit short, but it will do to prove the point.

    Very cool.
Your tanks always have so much going on. Bet you can lose time just staring into them.

I just got my first fish yesterday a baby bristlenose they are really cute. I put it into the 3ft that I now call the oros tank because of the Mopani won't stop leaching tanins.
It's been really good at going at the algae but it's name is going to have to be poop machine with what its accomplished in just 24hours.
