Yoh but your fish are showing good colour!

BTW, Did you glue the rocks together? or just stacking them?

Reason I ask is, I'm worried if you by accident scare your fish, they could knock the whole rock structure over, and that could spell disaster! for both fish and tank.

Problem with glueing rocks is trying to move them at a later stage.
If you want to catch a fish, or have a good clean, it will be a problem.

@irfaan I am by no means an expert and do not want to offend but IMO it looks too "put together" and looks like an engineer built it. I would arrange it more natural and off-centre as well... :)

Oops now I'm in trouble he he he... Like @HEIHACHI said - more rocks, maybe mostly the same so it looks like it comes form the same biotype, less visible spaces between them but still some hiding space and more so that it looks like it could come from a lake... Like a little mountain/hill of rocks sloping to one side. But I am most definitely not an aquascaper but that is what i would have done.

Look at mine... :cheesy:, just kidding.

I found the best way is just to keep your eyes open when driving around. Go check out construction sites, etc. and ask if they have rocks there. There are lots of areas down where I go rock climbing that has amazing rocks lying around. I think the main thing about the scape is that all the rocks must look the same for the scape to work. Leave out the plastic plants. And as Francoisve mentioned, try keep the rocks off center.

Maybe go buy a 40kg Bag of pool filter sand from Builders, or any other place and replace your gravel. Cichlids love to dig, and fine sand is good for them to dig in.
