lost most of my fish this weekend

was away from home this weekend , only to come back and only to find no power and most of my fish dead .

i usually get a call from the alarm company to say our power is off and i then send someone to check but got not phone call .

i have a battery pump pump for each tank and had i got the phone call then this could have been used.

sucks to have to start all over again, had some of my fish for over five years .

so after all of this , i have decided to downscale and will be selling my tanks , save for the 6ft .

if anyone interested let me know, i have a 1.5 meter curved glass tank with two canister filters for R3000 .00 neg

and a 1.2 meter jebo with canister filter for 2000 rands .

Oh no - very sad. Which part of the country are you from? - I could donate some plants, and some guppies to cycle your tank (as well as an extremely hardy molly).

Why not start fresh though and do something you couldnt when the tanks were occupied?

 

Thanks guys, i was running three tanks , 1.8 mtr, 1.5 mtr and a 1.2 mtr

getting rid of two so not leaving the hobby completely , could not leave it if i tried lol.



will start another community tank in the 1.8 and maybe at a later stage will get another 1.8 mtr for my malawis and cychlids .

oscar , you are right , this time around i can change start afresh , and chose my fish carefully when restocking .
