Well if you think its hard to find tanganikans in the city, try george or knysna, almost nonexistant and when they are available they come in at ridiculous prices.

Hi all, Hope to have my hands of some of these by the end of March or early April. You must remeber that wild caughts are paid for in dollars and then the cost to land them in SA is rather stupid. This can be nearly as much as the cost of the fish.
I will hopefully have quite a variety ranging in price from R110 to R350. The one thing I don't know is what their size will be.
Shakes pop in and find out more about this possibility!
Trophs are you able to get to George? I have oxygen so it is easy to pack fish for you to take home!

Hi sarf, Yes there will be Frontosa at around 4-6cm. Looks to be Aqua blue-Ikola but I have told the guy to look at 7 stripes. He has listed Kigoma. Price should be about R120-R150 depending on the final price to me!
Will keep you all posted as this should be ready around mid March. This guy is a fanatic and will be quarenteeing his fish for about 2 weeks before makeing them available. I will have a look at them as soon as they have arrived as he is only 45 minutes drive from me.
