That is understandable as Midas gets really aggro when they breed and are temperamental on their best days.

Awesome fish though. Well done.

I will not be taking them as I only have one tank now.

I will keep looking for the chocolate cichlids instead to add to my current tank.

How aggressive are they?

Will they interfere with a redtail catfish?

 

it is all relative to the situation,
in a pair while breeding they very very aggressive, think of convicts cichlids that are 35cm.
they are very similar to flowerhorns but they are physically more capable
housing them with other fish is just going to end badly
