looking for L 173

    Hi guys havyou seen this catfish. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a few of these??

    Unless @Altum's changed his profile pic it is an L46 which has straight lineage where as the L173 you are looking for has wavey lines...

    LOL - think you'r correct @Lizid - thanks for that - I see the waterzoo banner ad also has the L46 then .. maybe altum can source some L173 ? While we are playing spot the number I see that L399/400 are similar but not as rare as the L173?

    L173, A very pretty fish.

    Germany, UK and Auz have.
    South Africa -any fancy pleco are scarce and pricey

    Any specific reason you looking for L173?

    Long time !

    These ARE available on import speical order.
    The same way we get the other tankbred COOL CATS
    However , they are pricier than L46..some places 50%, other +100% more than L46

    My avatar are a part of my last bunch of Zebra pleco L46
    I am busy getting another order of exotics..L46, L333( 2types available), L66, L260 ( some of them, not ALL )

    Maybe consider some of those?
    ( I suggest some of my latest breeder's L333!!)

    I can otain either or both L173,
    one is an aberrant Hypancistrus zebra L46(wavy line form),
    other is a different fish Hypancistrus sp. cf L173

    And to echo Khalid, knowing this fish, and it's value... any special reason ???
