With HC you have to know what you are doing or it will simply die. High light and CO2

No have not but did read enough about it to know that they will not look nice or survive in my setups.
Glosso is the "low tech" version but bigger. Glosso is not low tech as such but a bit more forgiving than HC.

I would try source some glosso if I were you. HC isn't suited as beginner plant, or withour CO2. You could all try some {cough} grass. (most LPS will carry is, but I'm not allowed to mention it's name cause its blacklisted.)

Well, thinking along the lines of glosso . . . just cant find it. How much does a pot go for?

I'm sure HC will do well with DSD and CO2 . .

yep i also think you should go glosso from what iv read HC can be a very very demanding plant and can really be a pain (a costly pain)

The problem with these types of plants, Glosso, HC, is that they are all fairly demanding plants with regards to lighting, and often require extra nutrients in the form of fertilizers, and CO2. Not you tell me of any LPS store that offer's this kind of service with regards to their plants. I have not seen one single LPS stock plants in even a semi decent light, let along with CO2. So they can't keep them alive, so dont bother getting them in. They'd rather have non-aquatic plants in their tanks that survives for a few weeks in their own tanks, but dies eventually... knowing that they could at least sell those in the few weeks they are in the store.

Your best option to sourcing these types of plants is to have another member sell you some!
