    Hello,

My ancient Halipai airpump has blasted its diaphrams again and its getting tough to find replacments. Anyone have a source for a blower big enough to run about 30 to 40 tanks of various sizes? Any idea on what they cost?

A second hand blower in good condition would be welcome too if you can't suggest where to find a new one.

    Thanks

I was in a LPS the other day, and they were using a "small" hand held leaf blower. They available from most hardware stores. Last time I saw them between R500.00 and R700.00

The 2400l/min blower Henk is talking about, is one SERIOUS piece of machinery - If I had the bucks I would take it - Then I could could invite the fishy friends over and show them my "Blower"

Have you looked at the BOYU ACQ series air compressors - Very Very Nice and a very Nice Price too

    Hey Tyrone

Set up my new BOYU12 today - It is running 16 tanks with another 16 to add.
As you set up each tank and punch a hole in the 15mm tubing for the next tank, even with air pumping out of the hole you just made the tanks already set up just keep on going, with NO adjustment. The pump automatically compensates for air drops.. IT is AWESOME:eek:

Hi Sarf - loop is closed as Veegal says. The pump is on the floor under the tanks, exits via 15mm flexible onto the 15mm semi-rigid via an elbow going up.
The riser tees off to the bottom row of tanks and then continues up to the top row where it elbows along the top row. At the back of the rows, the top one elbows down to the bottom row. the dropper elbows back into the bottom row. So what you have is a 3m x 1m rectangle with a Tee in one corner going to the pump.

The more load you put onto the pump the quieter it becomes.
