Long heater cord

    Does anyone know a brand of heater that comes with a longer than usual cord? I want to dunk a heater into my water tank, which is 1m deep, plus more cable to reach a socket in a safe place.

    You can extend the cable yourself without too much trouble; ordinary Flex will do it. If your join is going to be underwater, you can cover the join in marine silicone and then then cover that with heatshrink tubing.

    Another option would be to buy an inline heater or do a DIY inline with PVC and then a pump to circulate through the PVC and back to tank
