    Hi, nitrates are still an issue, I have put in an additional filter and cleaned my canister and also replaced my media, I have changed the water and will be testing tomorrow morning once everything has settled.

    @Hlompho Lion ,

    You dont explain very well so sorry for asking.. did you replace all your media with new media? or only some of it and still have some old media in the filters?

    Some of the media not all, the good news is haven’t lost any fish

    Ok, that's fine then.

    Good to hear, just keep up those water changes and hopefully things will settle

    Nice one man. Good save. Just dump 50% water daily till the no3 comes back at around 5-10ppm, getting it to 0 won't happen and if you do, not for long. It takes a while to cut it down but once you have it under control it's much easier to keep tabs on it. Once you see it touching 15-18ppm do a 50% water change. You won't lose fish while improving their conditions. If you do they where too far gone anyway.
