lone apple snail laid eggs

i got two clutches, and one i just noticed has hatched, gazillion little snailies are about

i thought they wouldnt make it as the clutch looked dried out. But i just swished them all out of the dried out clutch husk, they are snailing about the substrate now. YAY

Oddly, the shells look like they're speckled with black dots. i have black and white bodied apple snails in the tank, wonder if the crossing will give me speckled snails?

lol, quite right, one of my big 'uns always Always manages to sail around with one antenae trapped under its foot, that antenae is usually stretched and crooked when not being stepped on

 

i got a total of 6 clutches in the tank and 8 all told and nothings hatched yet. we'll see bout the latest lot though i cant keep track of when each clutch was laid lol
