So I thought I would show off my (sadly very) little baby, from its start about a year back to now, with as many pics as I have around... So here goes :)

I am running a 25L Akwaria tank, with the original light and filter (SunSun 180). All plants are live and tend to chop and change so not going to list them now.. Basic wood and rock for décor.

As for live stock... It chops and changes over the course, but as things are there are:
    1x SAE
6x Danio (Glo in yellow, pink and orange, and 2 long fin blue danios)
    10x White Cloud mountain minnows'
unknown number of cherry shrimp (red, black, cross between and one glass)

Hope you enjoy :) if you have any ideas, I am always open as I love rescaping whenever I can :)

Tank when it was first started... about to be cycled.

Tank when Eskom struck... about a week with no filter.
    Tank with blown pump.jpg

Tank after the pump was fixed and I did a little plant harvest and trim

One of my very berried cherries

Some of the new minnows as well as my slightly bright Danios

    Just a transparent little bro

This is a beautiful nano setup. Have you had any cases of these fishy inhabitants eating your shrimp? I have a 30l aquarium stocked with Zebra Danios, Neons, and Redeye Tetras and am looking at getting some shrimp to clean things up a little.

It’s a basic aqua soil my LFS does, and I capped it off with a mix of gravel. Works really well, but you do have to supplement a little for some plants I found. I just used the Seachem Flourish, and it worked a charm. But the hassle I had was the gravel I used mixed in with it very easily, which led to a lot of murk every time I gravel vacced.

It does. But I’ve changed up now for the redo, going to use some of the old aqua soil which Is mixed with the old gravel to hopefully keep it down, and then cap it with a new layer of gravel. See how that works out

    Looking good bud.

@Alan Muller - I’ve also got white cloud minnows, neons and espei tetras with shrimp in my nano. No issues. But I did buy smaller fish to start so they kinda grew in with the shrimp

My danios didn’t eat some of the babies but left the adults alone completely

When I had neon tetra they hunted shrimplets very aggressively (I saw them) but left adults alone.

I am sorely lacking plants at the moment, hasn’t quite got the effect I was hoping for but that can be remedied pretty easily once things get back to normal
