Lighting advice needed please

I was wondering if I could use those led spot lights in my tank. The ones with the different colours. Any advice please ?

 

You could if you want to. But it won't really matter since you don't have any live plants in your tank. If you don't plan to do live plants you could use any light you like since it will ve for display purposes only. But if You wish to eventually add live plant then getting a light conductive for plant growth will be a good idea

I actually use desk lamp with 6500k light bulbs on my tanks. The cost me R50 at a Chinese shop. And I have plants in my tanks that's growing well. For some reason my phone won't upload pics on to TASA. So I'll post ola link of something similar

@Jarryd are you trying to grow or just display? if you are growing listen to the lady @Ladysphinx if not i would look at led strips rather than spots. again depends on what you tryna do!

I’ve used a Lumo 6500k 10w slim LED flood light from Makro in my 120l tank. Growth on the plants has been geeat, just that the water does look a little yellow under the light.
