    Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of the dbn guys could help.

About a month ago I saw an ad in a chatsworth community news paper for a pet store either in the chatsworth area or malvern/sarnia areas.

The reason I wanted the details(by pm is fine) is due to their discus advertised at a really good price.

I'm really interested in getting in touch with the store.

Also if any of you can recommend lfs in dbn or even discus breeders I would truly appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Hi
    Catfreak.
What area are you in.Update your details then we can help you way easier.
What size tank do you have and what inmates are in the tank?
I went to that lfs(opposite the Mosque?) on the first floor.

    hey Slojo,

    that's the thing,
im not sure where this lfs is actually situated.

i have updated my profile hope that helps.

the tank i have awaiting discus is a 3ft that will only house discus. the tank has been running for a while now and has been cycling with tetras. i will get the water tested once more before i stock the tank with the discus.

the durban pet stores don't have much discus ever in stock and i have only seen a few at northlands and at richard at tropical world.

besides these, i dont think i have seen many discus for sale in durban.

Why do you not ask the Sponsors on the forum.
You will get way better prices anyway than at a LFS.

from what i have seen, most of the sponsors are based outside of kzn.

that would mean the fish would have to be couriered to me.

im not sure i would want to risk transporting such fish.

i dont know what the success rate is with transporting fish around the country and im not sure i want to risk their health.
