    Mine do on a regular basis when some of my driftwood had an attack of bba for some odd reason and they cleaned it within one night. Other people have documented this as well: The Aquaden View topic - Snails for planted tank.

    ok cool. learn something new everyday. you just cant use these snails on clay based substrates as they apparently turn the substrate into mush (from the tunnelling they do)

    Strange as it may sound,I use a Product that is being used for Koi Ponds, "Pondclear" to get rid of BBA in my show tank.
    I have not yet noticed any negative effects on my fish or plants.It also seems to kill Green Spot Algae.

    Yeah also did not know till I saw them munching on it one evening, they will generally eat anything that most algae eaters leave alone.

    When did FW fish get so expensive or did I get poorer? Went to 2 LPS today and saw nothing special. O our LFS has some nice stone fish.

    Fish have become ridiculously expensive and I have noticed massive price difference between the different lfs stores.

    R5-R10 difference not a 200% price difference in some cases...

    True, though it seems that good stock his hard to find these days especially the odd ball fish..

    Will need to book some time and go crawl ... need to visit Loli also but for that I need time, hmm need a CO2 refill 2 x5kg so will need to make it a weekday - eish

    It seems like most LFS's have taken a knock,they only get stuff in that they know will sell.:worried:
