LED light strips

    Hey guys I recently saw some pre made strips of LEDs which you simply glue down and plug in. None of the hassle of making your own needing drivers and heatsinks etc. Would these work for a planted tank? Seems like it would be pretty good since the strips are flexible and could be place along the inside of any canopy. My only issue would be what light spectrum they emit?

    I was at Walters house last year and he had a Nano (i think 30l) with 1 LED fitted in, and it lit that tank beautifully. No plants though...
