Leaving JHB to go to George !

I have to travel 1200km with my fish, I have 2 large jack Dempsey and a number of killi fish, plus 4 fire mouths and 10 jewel fish, a 30cm plicostumus (I am thinking of selling him)

I have 2 questions:

1. How do I do this safely?
2. Is there a good pet shop in George area, if yes then I can replace the fish?

I'm very jealous that you going down to George... i LOVE the East Cape area!

Why not chat to a LPS here in JOZI and ask if they prepared to hold onto the fish for a day or 2, and then courier them to you. They might ask for a few bucks, or a lot... but you might get better service, and better chance of survival than if you try take them with you?

 

Thanks guys but I have decided to sell the 3 oscars thier about 13 cm thier 3 of them and 4 Jewl fish about an 5 cm and my Loving Plecostamous about 23 cm. so if you know any one who wants to make me an offer, before take them to the pet shop this afternoon let me know

I will still be taking the jacks and the killies! so any other suggestions would be great!
