Lava Rocks

Hi Guyz.....

So I went down to my LFS in Cape Town. On entering, I noticed rock like structures afloat in a soon to be Malawi tank.
The shop assistant told me as these rocks absorb the water, it will sink to the bottom of the tank.
It was mentioned this is a type of Lava rock.

Unfortunately I did not capture a pic.

However, I could not obtain details as to where I can purchase this type of rock.

Did anybody else see this type of rock in Cape Town?

Urgently looking for medium to large light weight rocks for a 1.4m malawi tank in Cape Town or other regions if it not to expensive to courier down
to Cape Town.

Try Brights Hardware in 12th avenue, They had some on the ground level before you get the tills. (R50 - R70)
There's also a nice place on the corner just before Cape Garden Center that sells various types of rocks & stones
