Large fish potentially seeking new friends or a new home

    Hi All

    Just taken over a premises with a 1200l tank. Tank comes with 4 featherfin catfish, a massive pleco, 3 large silver dollars, a large Malawi and a large but rather bullied Tanganyikan.

    Am of two minds of whether to try and find suitably sized friends or re-home these beauties and start from scratch.

    Thoughts?

    Hi and welcome to the forum

    Some pictures will be a good start

    I think your first decision should be what type/species of fish you like and are compatible with each other
    Just adding other large beauties to the ones you have is very vague and could lead to disaster if they cant live together

    Do you want to stay with African cichlids or do you prefer other cichlids like SA or CA cichlids?
    Or do you want to go with other species..
    For starters, I would re home the large pleco... he will get larger and larger.. in fact, huge... even for that tank size

    Share your ideas and likes and dislikes, it will make it easier to give advice or recommendations
