kissing gouramies problem

    hi i have 4 medium sized kissing gouramies in my tank. This morning i have noticed that they are chasing my angels. They have been together for almost 2 years now and never showed any aggression.

    What may the cause be for their aggression towards the angels?

    IMO do you know if you have male or female gouramies? Maybe they wanna spawn???

    @TropicalCool i have no idea will check my notes again what to look for to try and determine sexes. If wanting to spawn is the case ill have to move them to another tank.

    Guess so @Firefly. Think they discovered the slime. Have lost one angel and other large one is in pretty bad shape. So i have caught out the gouramies and took them to lfs. Just hope angel wil get better now that there is no munching or kissing him.
