    I assume you've seen this?

It looks like a decent setup. I would love one.

I can only comment on the Rio 180:
    - glass is excellent, great workmanship all around including silicon work
    - solid, good bracing. Overall excellent german manufacturing
    - happy with filter, added a lot of matrix to it
    - added a 2nd heater as the juwel heater is only meant to raise temp 6C above room temp
    - easy to assemble. Good option if you’re looking for something with a hood
    - light is powerful and grows plants very very well but needs to be kept on a relatively short light cycle else i run into green spot algae issues

Thank you guys for the replies.
@RaD : yep have seen that video , looks really cool but the fact that I have to have my equipment in my tank bugs me. That leaves me with the option of going with a sump ....and then the noise of the sumps erks me also.
I am contemplating getting my set up custom made but want to do it right the first time around.
@A new day : I love the hood of the hood of the Juwel. I wonder if I can get some one to custom make the hood for my custom build or just buy the Juwel set up ? why do these decissions have to be so tough :(

I smash sponges into my overflow for the sump and have the inflow underwater. It's almost silent and definitely less noisey than an air pump. But the Juwel looks hot. If you can afford it I'd definitely get one.

I got the Juwel as my second tank when I was basically one month into the hobby, and it took all the guess work and planning out of it (made it a safe and instant option). Am pretty sure you can assemble something similar yourself especially if you have access to good workmanship.

In hindsight I would’ve preferred a canister filter as the juwel filter box inside the tank takes up a lot of space and is visible
