I'm surprised by that fishcrazy!! I've never heard naything but good reports on Juwel tanks!! The only real problem was cost, which is obviously not an issue in this case!!

I'd love to see one of these bad write ups?? I'm not suggesting you are talking through your rear end though, just surprised!!

    Cheers
    G!

Same here - I often most recommend Juwels among all the other "brand" tank, as they last the longest, have the full backing on quality from their supplier and the parts can easily be replaced.

Yeah, they're expensive, but you get what you pay for.

    I've heard exactly the same.

They are also neat tanks, and are a lot more eye candy than the other "complete" kits you buy!

Spoke to the guys that market them, they are stunning tanks don't get me wrong, but replacing 20 or so light units month well percentages are high

Only thing I never like about the Juwel tanks is that they are often just a wee bit too small, and then also ship with internal filters making them even smaller, compared to some of the other brands which have Canisters or even Sumps instead.

I agree, I purchased a Juwel and the quality is amazing ,The glue that holds the tank together (although some might not like the black glue,i do) is sealed perfectly. i would recommend this brand of tank for the modern home.
It seems to be an all in one package. Its neat, looks good and the glass is of good quality.

I live my 180 looks superb, build quality is excellent and I have had no issues with my lights. A bit on the low side and needing to get some reflectors. Some people throw out the internal filter for some space and I may do the same in the future but for now... Very happy
