So finally i get my dream tank up and running, specs are as follows

    size : 2000 X 500 X700
    lights : 4 X 30W - 10 000k + 1 * 4 foot purple light not sure what specs
substrate : white gravel mix (not sure exact name will take close up pic for ID)

Hardscape : 12kg dragon rock - various sizes

    plants
    - ambulia
    - java fern
    - various mosses
    - Valis
    - grass
    - crypt carpet (will attempt as suggested by @DewaldC)

    Ferts
    - will probably stick to seachem Flourish

    Co2
    - will use seachem excel and might go for DIY Co2 (yeast mix)

    Fish

    - going for the smaller schooling fish tetras, need sugestions on cleaners and bottom feeders. not too keen on anything that gets big.

Hey @Ammar ! That is an awesome tank, good luck. I would recommend cory cats or if you dont like them then try zebra loaches, they are both good for communities. For schooling fish I love neons or cardinals, they are beautiful. Lots of schooing fish make an impressive display, you could add bolivian/german rams, rainbows, rummy noses, red eyed, congos etc. Hope it looks awesome, good luck.
P.S Do you think a DIY system will work for such a large tank?

Depends on the species, but I think the biggest Cories are 12 cm MAX. In a tank that size you could put a nice big school of 20. You could get just one species or a mix. Different species of Cories will school together. Darker colours will show up better on your light substrate. Cories are one of my favourites :) If your substrate is too coarse, though, it can damage their barbels.

A big tank of smaller fish - this is going to look stunning. It is so exciting setting up a new tank. Thanks to TASA I can do it vicariously.

And I like how you've arranged the rock, with the grain of the rocks all going in the same direction - looks much more natural.

thank you @Jenn, the Gravel you see under the rocks is the coarse one, i don't think it is too course, i will try take a close up pic, and maybe you can advise, i wouldn't want to hurt any of the fish.
some of that Vallis you gave me is gowing in there as well, its looking really good, you actually gave me so much i shared with 4 other guys. (now i wish i hadn't :p as i need it)

i thought about the bigger one and was abit worried they would once get too big and i would have to start finding homes for them.

i love rok especially that kind, i hate smooth rock it just doesn't look right in there, will be adding quiet a bit more as i get more stock
