    Why dilute the value of the forum by splitting content and have stuff on facebook?

    I don't think this will 'dilute' the value of the forum. It defininitely won't split the value, as I can almost assure you nobody will go on there for aquarium related advice. Facebook is a social communications network, and for TASA is'll work as such, allowing us to interact on a more personal level.

    I also think this will help us keep in contact should an emergency arise - just another way of getting in touch. :)

    Fish Fantasy - I've replied on your thread, sorry it took so long.

    Steve - 'place you' is so that we know who's who. For eg How would some people know on FB that you are WITO-ZN here on TASA? :)

    f-fish: I agree with Salmon Africa, it's just another way to get in touch with other members and to see what they look like and get to know them a little better outside of this forum itself. Believe me, I am a member of a number of other groups on FB which have forums and it actually increases the value of the forum as more people tend to join the forum itself after joining the group.
