JBL 2 in 1 Drop Checker and Check Valve

Hi peeps

So I bought the the JBL m502 solonoid kit and it came with a 2 in 1 drop checker and check valve.



Pros
Good Quality plastic
Seals well (has threaded nut so line can be locked in)
clearly marked on intput and output
Easy to see the bubbles

Cons
The mounting bracket does not stick very well - these suction cups seem worse than others
Check valve doesnt work - I only realized a few days later as water went missing so I added a check valve before the unit and it seems to have helped

Would I buy it, probably as you can see its quality but you do need a check valve

I did remove some of the water in the check valve but it didnt help

 

Was the original the solid black check valve ?

If so I have found they work just fine at a high pressure .... but if you reduce the flow they do not handle tweaking very well.

If you are using the JBL Thaifun - I am OK with counting the bubbles from that.

JBL was my first CO2 kit- and the stuff still works.

nah the unit said 2 in one so I added the additional check valve and works great

Its a pity more ppl dont review stuff will really help us out !
