Java Moss

Hi all
anybody know where i can find Java Moss in capetown area?

 

I bought java moss about a year ago at a pet shop in kenilworth area
This is what you looking for right
See image taken a few months ago when I had my old tank

How much do you actually need

 

ill be happy if i can get even half of what you had in your hand it can grow to be more hehehe

 

I currently have them in my malawi tank that I setup recently
I dont mind giving half of what I have
What do you have for me

I also have plans for the moss just never decide yet so I just stuffed it in the rocks lol
I might have more than what I had on previous pic or less I dont no

Java moss in Cpt

Hi. Panorama petshop had Java moss a while back. Not the cleanest moss, but probably rinse it a few time to get the dirt out. I bought some fish around 2 weeks back so not to sure if there is any left.

 

@snakes - Do you still have some java moss left? I would like to buy, trade some from you aswell.

 

I should chuck a small tank in my garage, put a HPS lamp on it and throw some java moss in, turn on a filter and check it in a year, BOOM, kilograms

 

You should Chris! good idea, then i could get some moss from you...

Sorry guys I have just been busy with work etc
I am not selling them as I dont have much but willing to give some to reaper
I am based in the gatesville area @Reaper
I work alot so we gonna have to make some plan lol
I am thinking of doing the same thing growing moss lol but dont have tank and space

 

java moss is like gold her in CT for some reason.. that LPS in kenilworth had some java moss for R50 a bunch.. and not a big bunch at that..


that other lfs in bergvliet also had some for about the same price...

not cheap this stuff

 

Hi. Java moss is usually R20 a hand full. Put it on a piece of bog wood and its goes sky hi. R350 plus. Phone Panorama as they had a tank full a while back. Perky Pets in Bergfliet had some growing on bog wood, but sold quickly. Speak to David as he maybe able to get some more. Pets Aquaria in Somer Set has stacks of bog wood, but did not see any moss. They have some nice plants as well.

 

lol try and find it for that price anywhere here and i'll give you a medal lol
