java moss in jhb?

Hi guysCan anyone tell me where i can get some java moss?

 

iv never seen it for sale in pet stores your best bet is from someone on the site,theres usually someone with some to spare just not me....yet i managed to find a small piece floating around the tank after the water change yesterday(dankie Vader) going to try and bring it back to life.

There's usually a lot of people on the forum who can help. There's also a few members in the WestRand who may have, but not sure if they have enough to spare... @Lizid, @hein24, @ves I have also seen some on occasions at the LPS in Hillfox.

 

there you go,its the other mosses that are harder to find.hope im not hijacking here but is it possible to buy online plants on ebay without breaking any laws.

 

you need a permitt and make sure its not BL but thats it!

 

ok thats not to bad would it be the kinda permit i can buy from the post office or something a little more involved?

As @Zoom said, you can try the LFS at Hillfox, got mine from them but did not last long in my tank thanks to my plecs and the cichlids thought it was a nice snack to them. Hope you do get some, all of the best. Can pop in at Jungle Aquatics just down the road from Hillfox as well.

 

How much you want - I can take a drive to Florida after the traffic dies down this afternoon.

 

Just need enough to keep some guppy fry a fair chance to survive problem is im getting home a bit late today. Maybe i can ask my bro or someone to collect from you tomorrow?

@robin r no subs or fertz needed for moss just a piece of drift wood stone or two maybe some light and your ready to rock and roll...

I also have Flame, Spiky and a couple others as well let me know when you are ready!!!
