So I got some of these lovely endlers from Prof Dirk, the weird thing is I think some of them are now producing albinos if that is possible? Where the original ones were mostly browny grey around the heads with browny grey females, that has been replaced by a bright orangey colour in place of the brown but still with blue tails and the females are orangey with red eyes.

Not sure about the red eyes. Maybe ask the prof but orange is their natural colour and very strong presence of it from what I know.
I have some pure endless and the orange is very striking.

Blue Endlers aren't a pure strain...so the orange from the original gene pool will be lingering. You'll have to euthanize or at least remove the ones with the orange tint or red eyes to keep the blue gene pool as strong as possible.

@JAX Would moving all the orange ones to a seperate tank be okay? Where would one find pure endlers? I've been looking everywhere but no luck so far :-(

Yeah...just split them up...try and keep as many blue ones together as possible. The orange tinted ones will "contaminate" your blue gene pool...as the orange gene is way stronger, you'll see more and more of it popping up if you dont do something about it ASAP

I have pure endlers...but will most likely only have available in mid-April (as I'm busy redoing my entire breeding setup)

hahahahaha, yes I do , but a man needs to work for his daily bread.

I saw some beautiful hybrids the Prof bred elsewhere, does anyone know how they bred on ? They almost appeared Tiger striped.
